Danabelles is a Tampa based art studio that specializes in unique floral home decoration.  These "Nature Mosaics" combine a bit of history in with the art as well.  First, we begin with antique print type trays which have been delicately restored.  We are sure to keep the antique feeling to the trays because that is what makes them truly special.  The age of our trays range from the late 1890's all the way to the 1940's.  All Authentic markings, details and drawer pulls are preserved.  Next, we fill the trays with real, all natural, dried herbs, spices, flowers, seeds, rices and grains.  Our "Nature Mosaics" are carefully hand made and Danabelles guarantees that no two nature mosaics are exactly the same.

Danabelles keeps in mind the importance of interior design and home decoration.  Our nature mosaics are the perfect addition to kitchens, bathrooms, family and living rooms and well as dining rooms.  We can custom make a nature mosaic to fit your home decoration needs.  All of our trays range in colors, sizes and shapes to ensureall of your decorating needs.  They can also be sanded, painted or stained to your liking.  Our Nature mosaics are most compatible with traditional, transitional, contemporary and country home decoration.

Feel free to look at the beautiful nature mosaics that we have in our inventory.  If you would like to inquire about a custom made tray, please do not hesitate to contact us.

About us

home

The idea for nature mosaics came about after a trip to Spain to visit my husband's family.  My sister-in-law had purchased a similar piece in a small village called Escorial, which is about an hour north of Madrid.  In Spanish, the print trays we use are called "chivaletes".  I was so inspired by the colors and different natural seeds and beans that are indigenous to the area.  I wanted to re-create and re-invent the same idea for us here in the states.

I am a graduate of the University of South Florida.  Go Bulls!!!  I also graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology with a degree in Residential Interior Design.  I worked as a designer at M/I Homes until the birth of my son, Daniel.  We are expecting our second child, Anabelle, in July.
